Lived here for two years and I honestly loved it. We left because we bought a home. The aprartments are newer and spacious . Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly. Never heard my neighbors. They have weekly exercise classes, a large fitness room, a clean pool in the summer, with grills.
The best was the easy access to long lake regional park literally steps away. Miles of walking and biking trails and a swim beach. Living here was like an escape but 10-15 min from downtown Minneapolis.
I just wanted to comment on how much I enjoy living at The Plaza. I have know of the building since it was built, but previously owned condos and townhouses in the area. When I decided to rent in 2014, I found an available unit that was spacious, quiet, had great views and large windows, and it was able to accommodate my furniture and 12+ bookcases! The staff has been friendly, helpful and responsive to any requests. The neighbors are also friendly, have interesting backgrounds, and respect for the quiet atmosphere of the building. I am happy to renew my lease as of August 1.
Great place, great experience. Shannan, Talesha, Kerstin and Nicole are all very helpful, the building and units are beautiful, it’s very quiet, spacious & in the perfect location. Highly recommend.
Woodstone is the perfect home for our family of two adults and a kitty. We love the spacious layout (including a roomy deck), updated kitchen, and ample parking. Great location, AMAZING staff and timely maintenance to our unit make this a wonderful home!
After years of home ownership, I now wanted to finally build our dream home. But my wife had other ideas: She wanted to move into a very nice luxury apartment and enjoy a more carefree lifestyle without the hassles and responsibilities of ownership, allowing us more freedom for job focus, travel, and family fun.
I finally agreed to try apartment living for a year. After months of looking throughout the Twin Cities, we settled on The View at Long Lake. After just three weeks I said “I’m never leaving this place!”
After over three years we still feel like we’re at a nice resort/spa without having to live out of a suitcase. Serene lakefront wooded nature walks or bike trails in one of the Twin City’s leading regional parks begin right next to our swimming pool.
Apartments are large, very well-designed and exceptionally soundproofed.
The professional staff at The View is over the top in so many ways.
We really couldn’t ask for more and plan to continue enjoying this carefree lifestyle for years to come!
We moved back to MN after being gone 4 years, selling our big house and ready to find an apartment. We knew we wanted to live in Edina so we checked out a couple of lovely new apartment complexes. But as soon as we walked into York Plaza we knew we were ‘home’! From the first meeting with the staff to friendly residents speaking as we were checking things out to the spaciousness of the apartment itself and the beautiful view out our windows we have felt like we are on permanent vacation status – living in a place we would have paid a tour company to bring us. From the beautiful grounds of York Plaza itself to the fact we can walk virtually any place we need to – lake, mall, Starbucks, grocery shopping, restaurants and the list goes on. We hope we never have to move again – and after 23 moves all around the country THIS is home!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed living at E Street Flats. Chelsea has been more than accommodating to everything we have needed. Every time I need clarification on something, Chelsea is available to answer my question. We had a troublesome leak at the beginning of the year and she did everything in her power to help us get it fixed as soon as possible. The rooms are great! The ONLY downfall is the countertop space and no dishwasher. Other than that, they are spacious and very modern. The exposed piping and ductwork makes you feel like you’re living in a downtown loft for a quarter of the price.
My husband and I have lived in our new home for one month now. We love our new place. It is spacious, updated, and we had a great move-in experience. The one maintenance request we have had to make was done the day of request. The staff is helpful and friendly, and we are very excited for our new life in our new home. The neighbors seem friendly, and it is a nice quiet neighborhood to come home to.
Moved in 3/1/15. The staff is wonderful! They are kind, helpful and friendly. When I moved in the apartment was sparkling and smelled great…a quality I had a hard time finding in pet friendly apartments. I love the big balcony and spacious rooms. The handle on the toilet was almost broken when I moved in, I called and that same day the maintenance came to fix it! There is a full-time grounds keeper and I am looking forward to seeing all the kids at the pool this summer! This is a family (including furry family) friendly complex. It is conveniently located…on busline. Close to shopping. Etc. Although this is an inner-city type of complex and some of the surrounding neighborhood is poor and run-down. Lamplighter Village is a little diamond in the rough, in my opinion. It is not high-end but it is clean, lovely and well maintained And Affordable! The residents are a mixture of friendly working class/family/young professionals and I love the diversity. Yep, Romeo and I already love it here! I think I made a good choice for my English Bulldog & me and I would recommend to friends.
