Have lived with Parkside for a year now. We will be re-signing for another due to our experience. The staff helping us have been friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings are well-maintained. The pool, gym, and grills are nice benefits. Maintenance staff have been quick and self-service through their management software has been convenient. Highly recommend.

NorthPointe- Always impressed
I am always impressed by the management team and their follow up with residents about any concerns. I really enjoy living at NorthPointe and always tell people how impressively well maintained it is, and how responsive all the staff are. Whenever I have had a maintenance issue it has been addressed immediately. I love all the facilities especially the gym, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and the heated underground parking is the icing on the cake! Thank you to all the staff for all your commitment and hard work!
Highland Ridge- Beautifully updated apartment complex
Beautifully updated apartment complex. It is located in the middle of a well maintained, park-like rental neighborhood; about 8 minutes southeast of the Highland Park Village. The apartments are modern and spacious. The prices may be higher in comparison to the neighboring apartment buildings, but the amenities are spectacular (indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, business center, small theater and party room… just to name a few). Did I mention the in-unit stackable washer/dryers? The staff is kind and helpful. The inner courtyard seems like a wonderful place to read a book. There a surface parking lots available for no extra cost, but there is also the option of underground garage spots for a fee (depending on availability).
The View at Long Lake- Loved it
Lived here for two years and I honestly loved it. We left because we bought a home. The aprartments are newer and spacious . Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly. Never heard my neighbors. They have weekly exercise classes, a large fitness room, a clean pool in the summer, with grills.
The best was the easy access to long lake regional park literally steps away. Miles of walking and biking trails and a swim beach. Living here was like an escape but 10-15 min from downtown Minneapolis.
Genesee- Amazing
We’ve lived here since construction was finished! At the time it was supposed to be temporary, and here we are almost four years later. The apartments are amazing, but what really sets Genesee apart is the staff. They go out of their way to do little extras for our kids, and are so quick to assist, should we ever need anything for our apartment. And the amenities are so great – the gym and onsite yoga are my personal faves!
E Street Flats- I love it here
I have been a resident of E-Streets coming up on four years now! I can’t even tell you how much I love it here. The rooms are affordable, welcoming and beautiful. We have close proximity to Bethel, Northwestern, Traders and easy access to 35, 694 & 36. The property is well kept due to our awesome maintenance gal Amy. The property manager Chelsea is amazing as well. She responds quickly to emails, comments, concerns and questions. She hosts fun events for the students and she’s always looking for something new to add to the space. For instance, we just got a little library which is great to study in. The gym is my favorite with all the basic bells and whistles for a great workout and I have even rented out both party rooms for events. This place is the bomb for students!
Eagle Creek Townhomes- We love it here!
Our family has been living here for over 2 years and we love it! The staff are very friendly and helpful, maintenance is good and the area is well kept. The pool and exercise room are great bonuses to an already great townhome community. I would highly suggest anyone to live here!!
One Southdale Place- Love it!
Love it!! The Assistant Manager was wonderful helping us find an apartment. We had been looking online and it was her friendliness and welcoming personality that sold us from the beginning. Everything went seamlessly. Adam and Dan have been helpful and never seem bothered by my questions. The Property Director actually knew my name the first day when I saw her in the hall. Since there are a lot of people here I was really taken back.The maintenance staff are meticulous! They are prompt, thorough and friendly. Edwardo is very quick and accurate very respectful and friendly. The Supervisor personally came to install shower bars for us (due to an upcoming surgery.) The Caretakers are always working hard have such a nice attitude smiling all the time they must really enjoy their work and it shows.
The place is really clean! My husband and I are very impressed overall. The apartments are really nice and spacious, higher ceilings, subway tile back splash, and nice wide dark stained base.
I love the rooftop deck and lounge, panoramic views of the city, the movie room and club room and many other amenities. The club room can be rented out for private parties. There are too many amenities and events to mention. I thought I was in heaven when I saw the Starbucks machine available for residents.
The fitness center is laid out quite well with space between equipment. They supply mats and kettle Bells, medicine balls and hand weights. The equipment is in good shape. There is a space to stretch or do your own thing on a mat. They have free Pilates and Body Sculpting as well as Yoga on the roof.
They do allow pets and if you have a furry one there are some grassy areas all around the building and the park is just two blocks away and the community has other dogs to socialize with. I never hear barking dogs.
The Underground Parking is FREE~ Nice! We are surrounded by stuff and things to do in all directions. I wouldn’t know where to start or stop if I commented on all there is available here. This is one of the main reasons we chose this community over any other. Almost everything is walkable. Right next door to Southdale Mall right across from Cub Foods and on the other side of the Galleria a 2 minute walk. On foot you can get to Super Target in about 7 minutes and the entrance to Centennial Park in about 10.
York Plaza- Love it
I have lived at York Plaza for a year and love it! The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and know me by name. Any maintenance issues have been addressed effectively and promptly; usually the very next day. The grounds are kept beautiful and flow right into the wonderful park which surrounds the property. My apartment is large with a gas stove and washer/dryer right in the unit. The best part is the quietness inside my living space. The walls and ceiling must be 3 feet of concrete because I can not hear my neighbors at all. The workout facility is great and has replaced my gym membership. All in all, York Plaza Apartments have exceeded my expectations in every category.
E Street Flats- I’ve loved my whole stay!
I have lived at E Street for about a year and a half now, and I have loved my whole stay. The rooms are very nice and the community is made up mostly of students, so it remains pretty quiet during the school year when people need to study. The amenities are great, especially the gym. Being able to go downstairs and workout during the winter is a huge plus, especially when you don’t want to have to drive to your school gym. Chelsea is by far one of the best managers that I have had. She is always on top of the ball getting things done when you need it, and if she is busy she will always get it done ASAP. She is super friendly as well, so it makes it enjoyable to talk to her either whenever you see her or when you have a problem with something in your room. She is also very hardworking, I always see her cleaning up everyone else’s messes, and making sure to keep the apartment building looking nice and clean. I have really enjoyed E Street and for any college student looking for a place to stay, this is the best place in the Twin Cities area.
