I just moved here from Boston with my mom and we rented sight unseen. Sue was my agent and we love our place and the service that we got! Any issues that needed attention were taken care of immediately and pleasantly. John, Lacey and Sue are wonderful and we love our quiet apartment! Our neighbors are friendly and we love all the dogs (as do our dogs) and the dog area. It’s a great place to live that is close to everything and I am proud to call it my home.

The Staff at One Southdale Place are All Very Friendly, Responsive and Professional!
The staff at One Southdale Place are all very friendly, responsive and professional. My family and I are new to Minneapolis and the amenities that the building offer have made the transition so easy. They deliver large packages to the apartment door. The parking garage is GREAT! The lobby area is welcoming and I especially love the free Starbucks coffee and hot cocoa!

York Plaza – Great Place to Live
I would recommend this place to live to anyone. We have been here for nearly six years and love it. The office staff are great never had problems so polite. The Manager here is so helpful always could not get a better manager. Maintenance is usually done next day they are great. It is also a really safe place to live. So close to movie theater, restaurants, South dale shopping center. All the Freeways are also so close. Again love living here 🙂
One Southdale Place: Recent College Grad Living the Dream!
Being a fresh college graduate comes with several responsibilities–but I eliminated the stress of “the living situation” by becoming a resident of One Southdale. I work downtown Minneapolis, and One Southdale’s location makes it easy to get to work, get home and move on quickly with my evening. The ease of parking and state of the art gym also takes weight off my shoulders as well, literally 🙂 The staff is awesome and their speed to adapt to questions, comments or concerns is definitely note-worthy. I noticed this right away, and it really appealed to me coming from a college house. My only “concern” per say is that I am one of the youngest people I have seen in the building. It is a combination of older, retired people and families with young children. In other words, if you are looking for a “a fun college party environment”–this is not the place for you. Regardless, whenever I have my family, friends or guests to my apartment, they acknowledge how nice it is, how beautiful the building is and most importantly, how homey they feel when they are visiting.

The maintenance people are very nice. We submitted few work orders for our apartment and they came the same day to fix everything. We use the facilities also, the gym and the pool. Overall, we are happy with the decision to move here. Besides the fact that the apartment is nice, we love walking in the park and everywhere around. Great location.
York Plaza: York Plaza Review
 Its very nice for the amount you pay. The size of the apartments is what you really pay for. You are not going to get a huge dining and a living area and a sweet kitchen like in York anywhere else. I have lived in York Plaza on and off since 2007. Also lived in some of the neighboring ones like Durham. The small increase in rent in York compared to other places is worth it. The bathrooms are outdated. Thats the only downside. Other than that, very nice living experience.

One Southdale Place: Empty-Nesters and Relocated
We are empty-nesters and relocated to One Southdale Place early 2015. I was initially concerned about the size of our space being less than 1000 ft.² after leaving our 3000 square-foot home, however with the wonderful layout and floor-to-ceiling windows it feels much larger. There are plenty of cabinets and closets spaces. I am so happy that our traditional furniture fit so nicely into the space. I initially thought we would need to buy more contemporary furniture but didn’t need to replace any of our former items. The people are so friendly the security is excellent the complementary yoga classes are fun and the community areas including the gym are beautiful. The maintenance staff is attentive and respectful. Looking forward to spring so we can use the grills and summer so we can enjoy the pool and the rooftop deck.
