Lived here for two years and I honestly loved it. We left because we bought a home. The aprartments are newer and spacious . Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly. Never heard my neighbors. They have weekly exercise classes, a large fitness room, a clean pool in the summer, with grills.
The best was the easy access to long lake regional park literally steps away. Miles of walking and biking trails and a swim beach. Living here was like an escape but 10-15 min from downtown Minneapolis.
I have only lived here for a few weeks now but I just have to say I am so happy I moved here. The ladies Jill and Sandra that work in the office are Super sweet and are always available when you need them. The rental process was very easy and quick, and moving in here was a breeze. I feel very safe living here and is also very quiet and do not hear any neighbors around me. I had a few maintenance request and they were very prompt to fix them quick. The caretaker lady I see in the halls is also super friendly as well They have great amenities to offer and a very clean environment. The people living here have welcomed me and I feel like I am staying in a 5 star hotel. Thank you for making my new home so very nice. Im glad I went with this place. My daughter and I are so happy.
After years of home ownership, I now wanted to finally build our dream home. But my wife had other ideas: She wanted to move into a very nice luxury apartment and enjoy a more carefree lifestyle without the hassles and responsibilities of ownership, allowing us more freedom for job focus, travel, and family fun.
I finally agreed to try apartment living for a year. After months of looking throughout the Twin Cities, we settled on The View at Long Lake. After just three weeks I said “I’m never leaving this place!”
After over three years we still feel like we’re at a nice resort/spa without having to live out of a suitcase. Whether your interest is in book club, cooking class, kick boxing, yoga or happy hour, this community has something you’ll enjoy. Serene lakefront wooded nature walks or bike trails in one of the Twin City’s leading regional parks begin right next to our swimming pool.
Apartments are large, very well-designed and exceptionally soundproofed.
The professional staff at The View is over the top in so many ways.
We really couldn’t ask for more and plan to continue enjoying this carefree lifestyle for years to come!
My fiancé and I have lived at The View at Long Lake for 3 years now, and we just couldn’t be happier with the community, staff, and apartment. Unfortunately my fiancé received military orders, so we are leaving this summer. However, this apartment community is SO amazing that they put together a going away party for everyone that was leaving around this time. The staff came as well. This is truly a unique place to live. Just please, if you do come here, make sure you treat it like your own 🙂

I recently entered my second year living at The View, and I couldn’t be happier with the amenities and comfort. The location and management are good as well. In searching for apartments around the area, The View’s modern building stood out, and after seeing the interior, I wasn’t disappointed. Granite countertops, high ceilings, fresh carpeting, washer and dryer in unit, ample storage space… I could go on and on about what sets this place apart from other apartments in the area. The location of the apartment is ideal in that Long Lake Regional Park is literally next door, but with recent construction in the area, the noise and traffic makes this location not total 5-star worthy. Management is usually great; there was a change in staff over the summer and I think some balls were dropped during the transition, but as a whole, management has been attentive. Maintenance is AWESOME, and whenever I place a work request, maintenance handles the issue that same day. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone without hesitancy. Yes, it’s pricey, but you get what you pay for: a comfortable place to call “home”.
Wow, what a fantastic community I absolutely love it here. We felt so welcomed when we moved in. The staff in the building and leasing office are great people. Very responsive and helpful and very professional. Neighbors are friendly and there’s a good mix of people. The amenities are fantastic as well. Love the pool and party room. And super cool to have access to a canoe, bikes, etc. Being on the park and the lake is a HUGE bonus. The gym is actually super nice unlike most places and there are even free group fitness classes which is totally awesome. The apartment was spotless and absolutely perfect when we moved in. I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience here.
We lived at the View from May 2014-May 2015 on the 4th floor facing the lake. The View was our transition place between selling our home we lived in for 25 years and moving to Colorado. The management staff Susie, Mario, Jesse, Randy and Corrin are outstanding, genuine, professional individuals. Kudos again to the management team for all the events you provide, and your role in connecting residents with each other. We will maintain friendships with a number of like-minded people we met at our brief time at the View. The apartment was beautiful, quiet, well maintained, and met our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, fitness center and classes Megan rocks , and miles of biking walking running trails. A special thank you to Mario for keeping the common areas sparkling clean, for the delicious coffee, and for your time and attention on our move-out-day you know what we are referring to . And Susie, your energy and enthusiasm is infectious. Thank you all and we miss you.
I moved to The View a year ago and just signed my lease for a second year here. I was previously a homeowner and was not sure how I would feel living in an apartment after owning a home for many years. I am happy to say the transition was great and I have been very happy here! The staff is wonderful, neighbors are quiet and respectful and you cannot beat the views of the lake! I love spending time on my deck which faces west over the lake. I also enjoy attending social events and spend time at the pool and fitness center. I highly recommend The View to others who are looking to live in this area.
We have been living here for 2 1/2 months now, and are VERY impressed with the property. We love our view of the lake, our apartment overall, all the people and pets we have met, the amenities of the property, and especially the Team (staff) who are absolutely wonderful!!
