Feel pretty safe here. The property managers are extremely kind here and you know that they care for the people who live here. They get creative and throw little events for everyone to get together which is nice. I haven’t had any problems but I know if I did I can easily talk to them and they would get on it ASAP. They clean regularly which is a plus. Everyone who lives here is nice and laid back. Favorite thing about my apartment is the decks, I love there there’s trees and plants in the middle walkway and that there’s a tree right by my deck. Definitely felt at home in these apartments.

Lamplighter Village- Amazing!!
This is my first apartment ever and it’s everything I was hoping for!! No noise problems, friendly neighbors, I feel safe, pet friendly, amazing maintenance workers!! Everything here is great!! Jaqueline and the Lamplighter team are so generous & kind! She made me feel so comfortable during the whole process!! They do so much for our apartment community, it’s just amazing!! I’ve heard horror stories at other locations on how their maintenance team never fixes anything!! I never have to worry about that here! Maintenance is always on time and repairs anything in a timely manner!!
So Happy to Live at Lamplighter Village!
Over the last several months, I find myself smiling more as I enter or leave the property because of the improvements on physical spaces and atmosphere. Yesterday was a great day to find the hallways and doors remodeled BEAUTIFULLY. So happy to live at Lamplighter Village Apts. I love our staff, especially Ronna Woolley: Property Manager. Still smiling.
Lamplighter Village – Staff are Wonderful & Helpful!
I have lived here at Lamplighter for almost a year. The staff are wonderful and helpful. If you have a problem, they are quick to fix the issue. One time I was having trouble with my car and a friend was helping me diagnose the issue but did not have the correct tools. One of the maintenance men stopped and offered his tools to fix my squeaky belt when he could have kept on walking. The staff care, they know you by name and don’t just take your money and push you out the door. The staff put on one of the scariest Haunted House’s I have seen in a long time this last year (2015). The kids had such a blast.
Sure, the neighborhood is not the best, but the staff go out of their way to help make our area as safe as possible with community meetings, kid afternoon lunch program during the summer and monthly resident get-togethers so we can meet out neighbors.
Best of all, this is a pet friendly apartment living and where neighbors really do care about each other…

Lamplighter Village: Great Affordable Home in the City!
Moved in 3/1/15. The staff is wonderful! They are kind, helpful and friendly. When I moved in the apartment was sparkling and smelled great…a quality I had a hard time finding in pet friendly apartments. I love the big balcony and spacious rooms. The handle on the toilet was almost broken when I moved in, I called and that same day the maintenance came to fix it! There is a full-time grounds keeper and I am looking forward to seeing all the kids at the pool this summer! This is a family (including furry family) friendly complex. It is conveniently located…on busline. Close to shopping. Etc. Although this is an inner-city type of complex and some of the surrounding neighborhood is poor and run-down. Lamplighter Village is a little diamond in the rough, in my opinion. It is not high-end but it is clean, lovely and well maintained And Affordable! The residents are a mixture of friendly working class/family/young professionals and I love the diversity. Yep, Romeo and I already love it here! I think I made a good choice for my English Bulldog & me and I would recommend to friends.

I have been living at the lamplighter apts for over two years now, and I must say I love it. The manager is great, and very respectful. She is all about her residents and that’s what I really love about living here. Every holiday there is always something going on good. From Bbq’s to Halloween parties you name it she is going to make it happen and make these apts safe and clean. Maintenance are always on time and they do not do a rush job. Come one and join us at the lamplighter apts where you come in you will be treated as family.

From a real honest resident that used to live here I must say for the price and garage if needed the landscape plus happy onsite staff this place has everything you want in a home, if I didnt move away I would still be there. Keep it up.
Lamplighter Village: Loving Community
There are several positive things about lamplighter village: friendly staff, love the newsletters, love the events that are put on, everything always looks nice. Things that could be better. Laundry card system in each laundry room, so we can add money at times office is closed and office hours were different like open later during holidays so packages could be picked up. The office hours and the same hours as a normal 9-5 job, so it makes it hard for someone that works a 9-5 to get to office in time to pick up package.
Lamplighter Village: I Hope To Stay Here For A Very Long Time
I think the big difference here is that the staff generally cares about the complex, its appearance, safety is very important. The staff is always around doing something. The building is kept very clean, the grounds are looking good after a very long winter. In the winter the walks were always done in the early morning( from edge to edge, very nice). The parking lot it always plowed promptly.
