I should probably note that this is my first apartment ever so I have nothing to compare the Genesee too – but why would I? The Genesee staff were amazing from start to finish and they continue to be. My partner and I have looked into dozens of apartments and maybe seen a handful of them. It’s safe to say that apartment tours can sometimes be redundant and mundane, but the staff provided such a fun and memorable apartment tour that we knew upon leaving that we wanted to live there. The application process was easy and relatively swift, as we impatiently waited to hear the status of our application for an agonizing 3 days. Cue to 6 months of living here, the staff continue to provide exceptional customer service to all residents. I can honestly say that they’re genuinely amazing people. In addition, the maintenance team is very timely with work orders and does an amazing job to keep the Genesee clean. All in all, you can’t go wrong with living here (I would recommend not living anywhere else, to be honest). I’ve been blessed to call the Genesee my home and cannot wait to live here for another year!

Genesee- Amazing
We’ve lived here since construction was finished! At the time it was supposed to be temporary, and here we are almost four years later. The apartments are amazing, but what really sets Genesee apart is the staff. They go out of their way to do little extras for our kids, and are so quick to assist, should we ever need anything for our apartment. And the amenities are so great – the gym and onsite yoga are my personal faves!
Genesee- Great experience
Lived here for a year and our experience was great. Nice neighborhood, great amenities, amazing staff, spacious, good quality on appliances, to name a few. We never experienced anything negative (which is uncommon as there is always a little something). We’re missing this place already; Kudos to the staff!
Genesee- I love living here, it really is home
I moved in about six months ago and it has really been a great experience. The amenities make me feel like I am living in a resort, but the staff makes me feel like I am part of a family. I love that I can walk to many places and the location allows me to get to almost anywhere in the Twin Cities. The building is quite quiet for how large it is and it is maintained very well. I’d recommend it to anyone!
Genesee- Constantly Impressed
When we were hunting for a new apartment, we were primarily concerned with location of our future home. We wanted to find a building that was between St. Paul and Northfield, Minnesota, as we drive in opposite directions each day when we go to work and school. When we found Genesee we were beyond thrilled about the location, and we set up a tour immediately.
After actually touring Genesee and meeting some of the staff, we immediately knew that Genesee was the property we wanted to call home for the foreseeable future. We’ve now been living at Genesee for almost two years and couldn’t be happier with our decision. We are constantly impressed by friendliness and professionalism of the staff and of the beautiful building itself! Everyone working at Genesee takes pride in their work, which makes living at Genesee feel so different from any other property. It is really the staff that makes this building such an incredible community to live in. We love calling Genesee home, and we both know that we will be hard pressed to find a property that can even come close to comparing to Genesee!
Genesee- Amazing Staff
As soon as I knew that I would be moving to Minneapolis, I started researching prime locations and apartments. I made a list of all of my expectations and priorities for my new home.
I knew from the moment I visited Genesee that I had found my new home. I was impressed with the convenient location—easy access to I-494, the airport and shopping. I was thrilled to see all of the wonderful amenities they offer—media center with 24/7 fresh coffee, underground parking, workout center, community room, swimming pool, weekly yoga classes and a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the city.
Genesee has been my home for the past six months and I absolutely love it here. However, above all of the rest, Genesee’s greatest asset is their amazing staff. They are all extremely hardworking, dedicated professionals! Each and every one of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous.
Genesee- “The One”
We knew Genesee was “the one” when we saw all the great amenities, especially the rooftop deck! That was probably the moment we knew we’d love to live here. We also enjoy how close by all the stores and restaurants are. Being able to walk to places was really important to us. Genesee has provided us with the lifestyle we were looking for. We couldn’t be happier!
Genesee- Best Place I’ve Ever Lived!
I love living at Genesee! Moving here is the best decision I ever made. I love everything about Genesee, including the unit I live in, pool, rooftop, business center, free coffee/tea bar, party room, free yoga classes, my balcony, etc. I also love living in this area! I can walk 10 steps out of my front door to get to Fresh Thyme, great outdoor patios in the area, my work is across the street, and it’s a central location to St. Paul and Minneapolis. The staff really cares about every resident. When I didn’t find the perfect unit for my roommate and me, they invited us back a month later to look at more options instead of pressuring us to sign a lease for something we weren’t completely in love with. Thankfully we found the perfect unit because I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
Genesee – Not Just an Apartment – it’s My Home!
Genesee is not just an apartment – it’s my home! And the people who work here are not just caretakers, they are part of my extended family! I’ve lived in many apartment settings over the past decade, in three other states as well as MN, and I have never found a place to live quite like Genesee. Without a doubt – this is the best!
